This course will examine both common and uncommon complications with management tips and frame the discussion around the presenters experience with multiple legal cases involving adenotonsillectomy. Learning Objectives:1: Examine potential major complications following adenotonsillectomy, respiratory compromise and bleeding. 2: Develop an algorithm for deciding which postoperative patients demand overnight care. 3: Evaluate which complications are more likely to result in litigation.
