Human papillomavirus- related oropharyngeal cancer has reached epidemic proportions. The aim of this course is to familiarize the clinician with the risk factors for HPV- malignancy, screening techniques, and management options. Further, the aim is to understand the differences between HPV negative and HPV- positive disease with regard to treatment options and prognosis. The course is based on current evidence and includes a review of the appropriate literature.
