New techniques, tips, and pearls will be discussed in the management of the difficult airway. A demonstration of the new THRIVE systems of high flow oxygen in laryngeal surgery will be reviewed; as well as pearls for jet ventilation and difficult airway management with a discussion of the management of airway fires. This multi-disciplinary team presentation includes a surgeon, anesthesiologist, and anesthetist who will provide their expertise and contributions in safely managing the difficult airway.
