This session will review the latest literature and most up-to-date therapeutic approaches to this topic. Specifically, the speakers will address anticoagulation with major ear surgery, rhinologic procedures, and head and neck surgery. Learning Objectives: 1.Outline how to manage anticoagulation and hemostatis in the perioperative patient. 2. Analyze traditional and newer forms of anticoagulation. 3. Provide evidence-based guidelines with regards to anticoagulation in the perioperative setting. Faculty: D.
