cancers are the most frequently diagnosed cancers in the United States, with
more than a million estimated new malignancies diagnosed each year. This is nearly equivalent to the number of
all other cancers diagnosed in the United States annually. Approximately 1/3 of skin cancers are located
in the head and neck. Therefore, it is
incumbent upon health care providers to be facile in the diagnosis and
management of disease. This case will
review risk factors, prevention, and treatment strategies for non-melanoma
cutaneous malignancies.
