COVID Related Otolaryngology Implications (2022 AMW)
2022 AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience
This miniseminar addresses controversial, but commonly encountered, issues faced by otolaryngologists after the COVID-19 pandemic onset. We will review the data regarding (1) clinical and operating room safety now and in the future in the face of aerosolizing procedures; (2) management of rhinology implications after the COVID-19 pandemic; (3) short and long-term laryngological implications of COVID-19 infections; (4) evidence-based vaccine implications for otolaryngology conditions as well as miscellaneous topics including but not limited to disparities in otolaryngological care and best practice for telemedicine applications during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. This session will allow for audience interaction and appeal to general otolaryngologists, academicians, and trainees. This panel presentation will cover the topics above using a combination of didactics, audience response queries, and case-based examples.
