Comprehensive dissection of the frontal sinus drainage pathway optimizes success from surgery. Inadequate dissection of the frontal sinus drainage pathway, or disease that requires more extensive formal dissection may result in poorly controlled diseases, complications and fronto-ethmoid mucoceles. With present an expert lecture series, “Frontal Sinus Surgery: Steps for Success in Managing Sinusitis and Mucoceles”. The course is targeted to those that would like to like to expand expertise in formal dissection of the frontal sinus drainage pathway. The session is best suited to at least comfortable with Draf I techniques that wish to advance further. We will demonstrate anatomy-guided comprehensive & optimal dissection of the frontal sinus drainage pathway by use of CT and endoscopy. The course will not address stand-alone balloon techniques. We will detail surgical techniques Draf IIA, Draf IIB and Draf III procedures as well as external frontal techniques. We will present endoscopic and external techniques necessary for addressing fronto-ethmoid mucoceles safely and comprehensively. This popular course is taught by two experienced surgeons. It has been very highly rated by past attendees in meeting the stated learning objectives.
