This course is a comprehensive review of reconstructive options for restoration of the upper and lower lips. It will review all of the principle and many less common methods of designing reconstruction of either lip. It will include the historical evolution and current perspective on many techniques. A variety of actual patient cases will be shown to illustrate each technique, and will range from simple lip reconstructions to restoration of an entire upper or lower lip. Strong emphasis is placed on excellence in both lip function and aesthetics.

Learning Objectives:1: Describe the variety and evolution of lip reconstructions. 2: Choose a suitable method of reconstruction for at least most lip tissue defects. 3: Restore good form and function to the lips in the face of most reconstructive challenges.
