Rhinoplasty, the surgical procedure to reshape the nose, ranks among the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures in the United States, with over 200,000 procedures reported in 2014. Functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, when indicated, provides the opportunity for direct surgical intervention to alleviate nasal deformities and anatomic variations leading to not only nasal obstruction and airway compromise but to improve overall nasal shape and aesthetics. The multidisciplinary AAO-HNSF developed Clinical Practice Guideline: Improving Nasal Form and Function after Rhinoplasty, will be presented. The evidence-based recommendations are designed for clinicians involved in the management and care of rhinoplasty patients.

Description
This miniseminar will discuss rhinoplasty, the surgical procedure to reshape the nose, which ranks among the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures in the United States with over 200,000 procedures reported in 2014. Learning Objectives:1: Gain insight to decrease harmful variation in care for Rhinoplasty patients. 2: Improve the quality of care and outcomes for Rhinoplasty patients. 3: Understand the existing variations in practice and the quality improvement opportunities to improve care.
