This course has two components. The first presents a simple and efficient method of triage for categorization of dizzy patients into clinically relevant groups for further work-up. The second familiarizes participants with a system to diagnose the most common otologic and non-otologic causes of vertigo.

This course has two components. The first presents a simple and efficient method of triage for categorization of dizzy patients into clinically relevant groups for further work-up. The second familiarizes participants with a system to diagnose the most common otologic and non-otologic causes of vertigo. The following objectives are covered in this course: 1. Classify dizzy patients into the four flavors of dizziness. 2. Characterize the temporal pattern (trajectory) of their dizziness. 3.
