Facial Reconstruction in Challenging Settings (2023 AMW)
2023 AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience
Facial reconstructive surgery is complex and may seem impossible in settings with low resources. This program presents methods of successful facial reconstruction despite challenges faced in resources and the surgical workforce. Topics covered are innovative surgical and technological solutions to address facial reconstruction challenges such as facial trauma, cleft lip and palate, and benign pathologies of the head and neck. Case examples will demonstrate the severity of disease and how care gaps are addressed in resource challenged areas.
