PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The ELS classification for transoral cordectomies will be presented. The importance of the landmarks for safe resections of early laryngeal cancers will be emphasized (petiole of epiglottis, cricothyroid ligament, paraglottic space, and superior laryngeal artery.) New instrumentations like NBI, CO2 Laser fibres will be presented. Criteria for selected cases of extended cancers will be discussed. Discussion of the CO2 straight beam vs robotic surgery will be presented.
