Cancer Immunotherapy: What the Otolaryngologist Needs to Know
The
following course reviews some of the benefits of immunotherapy in the treatment
of head and neck cancers including a review of some of the leading current
clinical trials. After completing the activity learners will be able to:
describe basic tumor immunology and basic mechanisms of anti-cancer
immunotherapy; identify indications for immunotherapy in head and neck cancer;
and recognize clinical cases where referral for immunotherapy is appropriate.
