Cystic Fibrosis Chronic Rhinosinusitis (AMW) Session
2021 AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience
Cystic Fibrosis Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CF CRS) has emerged as a distinct diagnostic entity, unique from other forms of chronic rhinosinusitis, and our understanding of this disorder has increased dramatically in recent years. This Expert Lecture will review the diagnostic approach to CF CRS, the evidence supporting appropriate medical management, the various indications for surgery, and the optimal post-operative care. We will explore the role of the sinuses in the progression of pulmonary disease, and the benefits that specific rhinologic interventions can have on pulmonary disease.
