Pediatric OSA Update 2021 (AMW)
2021 AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience
In recent years, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) has been increasingly recognized as a serious health problem in children. As such, there has been substantial growth in the number of research studies published in the field of pediatric OSA. It can be difficult for providers to stay current with the literature as studies are published in the journals of numerous different disciplines including pulmonary, neurology, otolaryngology, and psychology. This instructional course will review the most innovative and influential studies published in pediatric OSA between 2020 and 2021. We will focus on advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and sequelae by providing critical review and commentary of selected publications. To provide the best care to pediatric patients presenting with OSA, otolaryngologists must be familiar with the most up-to-date evaluation and management options.
