2021 AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience
Major changes in evaluation and management documentation guidelines have taken place in 2021. This program seeks to outline and clarify these changes as well as review inpatient evaluation and management guidelines for providers. Specifically, the evaluation and management guidelines for outpatient visits will be based solely on medical decision making or time spent on patient care or planning of care the day of service. This session intends to provide a comprehensive review. We did present this at the last meeting, virtually, and we will have more experience to share to the audience.

Learning Objective: 1. Review the major changes to outpatient evaluation and management guidelines for proper coding. 2. Organize outpatient and inpatient documentation for evaluation and management and minor procedures. 3. Explain the requirements for evaluation and management guidelines for inpatient care.
