Outcome Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be able to:
- Understand the mechanism through which ototoxic chemotherapeutic agents induce their effects.
- Recognize the importance of ototoxicity monitoring protocols and the tests necessary during monitoring.
- Discuss possible interventions in patients who experience ototoxicity.
- Recognize newer ototoxic chemo- and immuno-therapies and discuss future options for management.
