Outcome Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1.Understand the mechanism through which ototoxic chemotherapeutic agents induce their effects.
2.Recognize the importance of ototoxicity monitoring protocols and the tests necessary during monitoring.
3.Discuss possible interventions in patients who experience ototoxicity.
4.Recognize newer ototoxic chemo- and immuno-therapies and discuss future options for management.
