Despite advances in the surgical management of the sinuses, the anatomy of this region for many, remains a "black box." This course presented via endoscopic photos, CT, and video will focus on basic and advanced understanding of paranasal sinus anatomy, enhancing the practitioner’s ability to perform both virgin and revision endoscopic sinus procedures.
Description
Learning Objective: 1. Review the embryology of the paranasal sinuses and to understand how this influences surgical techniques in virgin and revision surgery. 2. Understand the spaces surrounding the sinuses and how this impacts surgery performance in both virgin and revision procedures. 3. Provide tips and tricks to optimize surgical outcomes.
