This course is designed to help Otolaryngology providers understand the changes to outpatient E&M coding instituted January 1, 2021 and how those changes affect providers. The redefined medical-decision making elements, time-based coding criteria, and prolonged service codes will be discussed. Several examples will be presented to help participants test their understanding of the content.
