►How do I claim CME credit for an activity?
In order to receive credit for any education activity that is designated for CME credit, you must first view the activity and complete a post-test assessment with a passing score of 70%. Instructions are provided at the beginning of each CME-accredited activity on how to access the post-test. Once the learner achieves a passing score, credit is automatically awarded and immediately accessible on the “My Transcript” tab.
►How does “My Transcript” work?
Your My Transcript page contains an up-to-date listing of all activities you have started in OTO Logic (In Progress tab) and you have completed (Complete Tab). On the "Complete" tab, you can also save and print a PDF version (Download My Transcript) of CME credit you have earned on the site.
►CME that Counts for MOC
Successful completion of the CME internet, live and enduring activities, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to meet the expectations of the American Board of Otolaryngology’s Maintenance of Certification program. It is the Foundation's responsibility as the CME activity provider to submit participant completion information to the ACCME for the purpose of recognizing participation.
This is how it simply works...
·First, the Foundation will transmit your participation information to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
·Then, the ACCME will report your diplomate credit to the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
·Your diplomate record is then updated, making this a simplified process for you!
